Levels of SSC exam
- SSC-CGL: Recruitment for The SSC--CGL is conducted for recruitment to different central services at the level of Assistant, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Divisional Accountant, Statistical Officer in various departments and ministries such as Central Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Defence, CBI etc and other divisions under Central government.
- SSC - CHSL: Recruitment for the Staff Selection Commission holds SSC--CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination for recruitment to the post of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks. The examination is conducted every year(generally) with candidates having minimum qualification criteria of Higher Senior Secondary (12th Standard).
- SSC-CPO:Recruitment for the Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC--CPO (Central Police Organisation) examination for selection into Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Successful candidates can join at the rank of Sub--Inspector in Delhi Police, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo--Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and as Assistant Sub--Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
