HOW TO CRACK CLAT Entrance Exam in 30 DAYS

CLAT
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M.).

HOW TO CRACK CLAT Entrance Exam in 30 DAYS

CLAT is an aptitude based paper and just like any aptitude paper has test skills which are innate or can be acquired. And this paper with these skills is vastly different from traditional exams based on learning and rote method. So while this exam has no rote based learning and detailed writing its focus on quick thinking and problem solving ability makes it a competitive one. During these 30 days a student must do the following:-

·        JOIN A RELIABLE INSTITUTE FOR CLASSROOM OR MATERIALS– A good coaching is the only way to crack the CLAT Entrance exam. For cracking the exam one must join the Best CLAT Coaching Institute in Jalandhar for practising the mock test on regular basis.

·       PRACTICE AND ANALYSE – Once the fundamentals about the CLAT exam are clear in the classroom it becomes essential for everyone to write the same topic every day to so as to reinforce the concept. Timed tests on 2/3 topics/ sections written everyday and analyzed thereafter are enough to tame the CLAT exam.

·       READ THE NEWSPAPERS –CLAT has one section of 50 marks on current events under GK, so if you have been keeping the newspaper at cove all your life now is the time to make confession. Reading serves multiple purposes aside from strengthening GK. It makes the strength for writing an exhaustive paper, and improves English and vocabulary too in the bargain.

·       PRACTICE MATH AND AR, DAILY– Focus on building accuracy and speed on topics of your interest. Develop and look for short-cuts for these. Practice what you have already studied and look for best possible approach. Find time for easy topics which you have not touched and solve them. If you are doing this way than you are on the right track.

·       QUANTIFY ENGLISH AND CR –A good mentor will help you see that there are only so many question types possible, hence if question types are limited so are solutions. For e.g. In Grammar we can chart out around 6-10 concepts that are tested year on year, so if we study them well we can score 100% marks.

·       RATIONALIZE GK –A great technique to prepare GK for CLAT in limited time is to participate in online quizzes and evaluate you towards the end. This will not only enhance your confidence, but also give you an idea as to where you stand.

·       MAKE A GOOD TIME TABLE –Just as resolutions at New Year’s are meant to be broken the time tables we make are never followed. Make one time table for a month that you will strictly follow without any excuse. It will bring regularity and reduce stress that comes from inaction.

·       BE REGULAR WITH GK AND VOCABULARY-One must be regular about the Current affairs, Current events going around the world. He/She must have good IQ level in order to crack the exam.

·       SOLVE PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTION PAPERS–A good preparation is incomplete without practising the previous year question papers . In fact before you come for class it becomes compulsory to solve the CLAT question paper at least once so that one should know what is happening inside the classroom. Before going for the final CLAT exam you must practice the previous year question paper as soon as possible.

·       TAKE A LOT OF ONLINE MOCKS –To check your level of preparation and to strengthen your preparation you are advised to take mock tests. It is very important to take online mock tests besides reading and grasping from different sources. Join a good CLAT 2017 test series which presents questions on the expected exam pattern in form of MCQ’s and in time bound environment.

·       STAY MOTIVATED – Always stay motivated towards your work. If you have any doubts and trouble about any topic than research well on it. Even research on the CLAT Test Preparation Institutes in Jalandhar For you intends to join and have valid queries.

What to prepare GK for CLAT 2017

What to prepare GK for CLAT 2017
The General Knowledge (GK) section has the highest weightage in the CLAT Entrance Exam, along with Legal Reasoning.
With around few days to go for CLAT exam, are you
  • Still wondering what to prepare for and what not to?
  • Standing more often in front of second hand book stalls and hunting for General Knowledge books?
  • Getting tired by low scores in the General Knowledge section of mock quizzes/tests.
Following are a few quick tips for preparing GK.
  1. There is no ‘right time’ to prepare for GK. General Awareness build up is a continuous process, so the earlier you start, the better it is.
  2. GK build up should become a way of life for the remaining test preparation window. Frequency and sources of information are key!
  3. Let’s understand the pattern of the General Knowledge section in the CLAT seen over recent past:
    • GK section has been a fair mix of Static GK (15-20) and Current Affairs (25-30) questions.
    • For the last 1-2 years, CLAT notification mentioned that Current Affairs questions will be from past one year. CLAT 2016 guideline does not make a specific mention of the same. So, please do not restrict your preparation to 2015 developments alone.
To prepare smartly over the next 70 days, you should be aware of and focus on the following:
Important Topics for Static GK
3-4 Questions each
  • Geography
  • Indian & World History
  • Arts and Literature
1-2 Questions each
  • Science & Technology
  • Personalities
  • Business and economy
Important Topics for Current Affairs
5-6 Questions each
  • Sports and Movies
  • International News
  • Business and economy
2-3 Questions each
  • Science and technology
  • Awards and Honours
  • Government and politics
Once you have done that, you should do time-bound preparation for General Knowledge every day. During the actual test, you should not spend more than 15-20 minutes on 50 questions in the section. The reason is, either you know the answer, or you don’t. One must join Best CLAT Coaching Centres in Jalandhar for practices mock test on daily basis or One must practice the mock test Online specially for GK Section.

How to improve score in Quant for BANK PO Exam

BANK PO Entrance Exam 2017: How to improve my score in Quant?
With just 15 days to go for Bank PO Entrance Exam 2017, is it really possible to increase the score in Quant? The answer is, YES!!
There are 2 possible scenarios:
Scenario 1: You know how to solve most questions, but don’t find enough time to solve them!!
Scenario 2: You can’t solve more questions because you don’t know how to solve them!!
Today, we will look at a possible approach on how to handle the scenario 2 problem and improve your Quant score in the few days.
Handling Scenario 2
The easiest way to improve your score at this stage is to enable yourself to solve at least the easier questions from across areas and may be a few tough questions from some areas.
At the end of the above exercise, you could end up with a table as follows:
S
P
W
Numbers, Surds and Indices, Remainder Qs, Linear & Quadratic Equations, SI&CI, Profit & Loss, Ratios
P&C, Logarithms, Sequence and Series, Mensuration, Venn Diagrams, TSD
2D geometry, Inequations, Probability, Functions and graphs
Prioritize
It is obvious that one can improve their scoring if he/she is able to solve more questions from P and at least the easier questions from W. Prioritize the areas/topics based on the amount of effort required to solve the questions and the weightage of the given topic in BANK PO Entrance exam over the years. The thumb rule for your prioritization will be as follows:
  1. Low effort – High Weightage areas
  2. High effort – High Weightage areas
  3. Low effort – Low Weightage areas
  4. High effort – Low Weightage areas
Your priority chart could look like this:
Practice with a Purpose
As a next step, solve as many ‘Bank PO’ questions as possible from identified areas in the order of priority – for example, solving 100-150 quality questions from a particular topic. Solving and analyzing these many questions will also ensure that you have gone through the entire gamut of concepts and theories that you might need to be aware of with respect to the particular area.
 Execute
While taking the next Mock Test, identify and attempt questions from areas that you were already strong in and areas that you have gained confidence – and I will not be surprised if you see a significant change in your sectional score.
For Time Management one should do the practices on the regular basis or he/she must join the Top Coaching classes for Bank Exams in Jalandhar for practicing Mock Test, Daily Online Quiz and find out how much you score before you appear.

Time Management Tips for IBPS Bank PO

Time Management Tips for IBPS Bank PO Examination 2016
One should allocate their timing in the following manner.
  1. English language – 15 Minutes
2.     Quantitative Aptitude – 20-25 Minutes
  1. Reasoning Ability – 20-25 Minutes

Now the question also comes that how many questions one should attempt. The candidate should attempt maximum possible questions during this time frame. However do not solve any question by guess work. Accuracy is also very important otherwise negative marking will spoil your good work. The first objective should be to complete all those questions in which you are 100% sure. After that one should also attempt those questions in which he/she is more that 50% sure. Leave such questions if you are not even 50% sure about the answer.
You should be aware about this guideline about IBPS PO Exam: –
“There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question”
Therefore you should take a note of negative marking aspect. However you can surely take chance in the questions in which you are 50% or more sure. There is nothing wrong in intelligent guessing.
Moreover, for time management one should do the practices on the regular basis or he/she must join the Bank PO and Clerical Coaching in Jalandhar for practicing Mock Test, Daily Online Quiz and find out how much you score before you appear.
