About Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M.).

Before the exam

  •       Know what you’re up against before you go in
  •       Practise writing quickly
  •       Be realistic

In the exam: keeping on top of things

  •      First: read every question carefully
  •      Divide your time up
  •      Start with something you can really do
  •       Plan long answers

Other bits ‘n bobs

  •      Ask for new scripts before you need them
  •       Don’t leave early
